BACCHINI INDUSTRIA ALIMENTARE S.p.a. was born in the summer of 2004 as a new company after having acquired the production and the commercial parties of the cous cous from Pastificio Bacchini Snc, the first in Italy that brought into trade  this product. Besides, BIA has bought a new production system (French type) which has a production capacity three time more than the original one situated at  Pastificio Bacchini.
Thank to the new organization and a thirty-year experience in this field, it has been possible to qualify the production by both traditional and innovative goods.
In addiction to the durum wheat cous cous, we offer a wide range of certified organic cous cous (whole wheat, spelt, kamut, 4 cereals and durum wheat) and flavoured mixes: with chilli pepper, “porcini” mushrooms, or Mediterranean vegetables.
We are experimenting, moreover, special products such as rice cous cous and corn cous cous. In March 2007, we certified all our processes in pursuance of rules and regulation ISO 9001:2000, BRC, ISF that includes legal rules HACCP.
